Nigerians have expressed disapproval over the action of minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike to travel with his son to China for a series of Nigerian government engagements with China Geo-Engineering Corporation Overseas Construction (CGCOC) Group.
A photograph after the engagement shows Wike, his son and one other black individual as the only officials of the Nigerian side in the negotiation with the Chinese aimed at ensuring the provision of water for satellite towns in the nation’s capital.
On X, Nigerians have expressed disappointment, saying Wike’s son ought not to be in the delegation of Nigerian government.
One of the comments from @HonShield said: “Wike went to China to discuss official govt business. Guess the only govt Official he took official pictures with? His son. Yeah, you read that right, his freaking son!!! APC needs to die!!!”
