Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has issued stern warning to those fighting him, saying “they are indirectly digging their graves.”
Wike and his predecessor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara have been at loggerheads over political control of Rivers State. He threatened that Fubara would not get a second term.
The tough talking Wike also descended on presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, calling him a serial election loser because Atiku had referred to him as a self-serving godfather.
At an event on Saturday attended by his followers and members of his faction of the PDP, Wike said: “Every one must fight Wike. Which Wike are you fighting? You people are digging your graves. Let me tell you, it has not started. We have capacity. We have capacity. Forget them. In Rivers State we’ll sit down and agree on what will happen. Not what they’re doing. Is it working? No. It will never never work.”
Wike has vowed to remain in the PDP while obviously working for All Progressives Congress, APC and even serving as a Minister in the administration of Bola Tinubu.
