Air Peace has explained the circumstances leading to the emergency landing of one of its aircrafts on Thursday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
According to a statement by the management of Air Peace, the emergency landing was due to a false alarm inside the plane.
According to the airline, a fire warning alarm ( indicator) was detected on one of its aircraft P47193 enroute Lagos from Port Harcourt on Thursday
The statement said when the pilot noticed the fire alarm, it navigated the aircraft which successfully landed in Lagos without hitches
On landing according to it, the fire was found to be a false alarm from the source within the airplane.
Recall that there was an incident with one of the aircrafts of Dana Air leading to tge suspension of the carrier by the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo.
