Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has told protesters of land he confiscated to go to court despite telling him they have due approval for the land titles.
The landowners had told Wike when he visited the site of their property to forget about the idea of laying claim to the land.
When they told Wike they have approvals for the land, he asked if they have CofO. When they answered in the negative but explained that Abuja Area Council duly approved their acquisition of the land, he told them to go to court or bring guns.
When they continued trying to reason with Wike that the land was validly acquired from Abuja area council authorities, he threatened to slap one of the agitators, telling the man: “You are very stupid. Who told you you can talk? If you think you’ve taken something, you are not the only one.”
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory of the Federal Republic of Nigeria…
Just look at the arrogance of power from Wike. Wike almost slapped an innocent citizen.
