VIDEO: Whiteman dragged away by palace chiefs over attempt to shake hands with Olu of Warri
A Caucasian man was stopped by palace chiefs from shaking the hands of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
A video of the palace drama showed palace chiefs pulling the Whiteman away from the Olu of Warri and teaching him how to get the traditional king by kneeling.
It is not clear who the Whiteman is and what his mission in the palace was at the time of the drama.
The Olu of Warri is the traditional king of the Kingdom of Warri in the Delta State. He was born Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko, also known as Tsola Emiko, on April 2, 1984 to Olu Atuwatse II, the 19th Olu of Warri, and Gladys Durorike Emiko.
He was crowned the 21st Olu of Warri on August 21, 2021 at Ode-Itsekiri, succeeding his uncle, Ogiame Ikenwoli I.
