Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has continued to throw jibes at his predecessor Nyesom Wike at every speaking chance.
Fubara’s recent tantrums mark a new escalation in the political war between the two gladiators.
He had described the Federal Capital Territory Minister as the proverbial rat eating the bag of garri on Tuesday.
On Thursday, he followed up the verbal attack announcing that the camp of the ex-governor had been defeated forcing them to sleep with their two eyes open.
Fubara added that Rivers’ people have now been liberated from the shackles of the Wike’s camp.
Wike, who enjoys pressing opponents and even advertises it with a song ‘as e dey pain them, e dey sweet us,’ has so far kept mute except for reactions from his allies.
Rivers people are now liberated. We defeated them; they are now sleeping with their eyes open, restless.
