The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike was not left out on Day 6 of the #EndBadGovernance protest.
In a viral video, thousands of marchers were seen chanting anti-Wike slogans while passing through his Port Harcourt residence. The protesters were, however, peaceful, save for the name-calling against Wike and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Armed security men were alert when the protesters stormed the residence of the FCT Minister in Port Harcourt, to demonstrate against the hike in the cost of living in the country.
The protesters seen in large numbers in a viral video were on a procession when they reached the Port Harcourt residence of Wike.
They chanted against the FCT Minister while carrying placards with various inscriptions.
The house was guarded by heavy security personnel wielding rifles,.
While the protesters were reciting the old national anthem, one of the demonstrators said, “That’s Wike’s house.”
