With a stern face, Dapo Abiodun looks away as scores of council chairmen in Ogun State prostrate while chanting a song for him.
It is not clear what the occasion was. But the video shows aides of the governor and security agents watching, while the council chairmen prostrate in what looks like either an action either in praise of the governor for a certain gesture or they are seeking his forgiveness over an undisclosed transgression.
The video has triggered reactions on X, formally Twitter.
@digitalaom said:”It is finished. Africa is finished…this is the end….”
@patwilaa said: “This is no longer a democracy.”
@Marymayluv said: “I don’t know why this video irritates my soul so much. If African leaders were God, we would all be in chains.”
@ogunmusi said: “Na small remain, We go dey hear Kabiyesi ooo for Government house.. Just small.”
