The police have apprehended two alleged cultists linked to the brutal murder of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ahoada police station in Rivers State, Bako Angbashim.
In the video, the cultists confessed to be members of the Iceland cult in Ahoada which is commanded by Gift David Okpara Okpolowu, popularly known as 2-Baba.
2-baba, a notorious cultist, has been terrorizing the Ahoada community and other parts of Rivers State. He is the prime suspect in the murder of DPO Angbashim in early September.
Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, had placed a N100m bounty on 2-baba after he was declared wanted over the murder of Angbashim.
In one of the videos, the alleged cultist confessed that the Iceland cult killed DPO Angbashim, but claimed he wasn’t part of it.
When asked about his boss and the stock of his armory, he claimed his boss has more than 50 guns. He said the weapon supplier usually delivers the weapons upon demand by his boss. He said the demand was always made via phone call from 2-baba.
He also revealed that his boss works with some other people, but did not disclose who those people are because he claimed he doesn’t know them.
DPO Bako Angbashim was tragically killed in a brutal manner in the Odumude community of Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State on a Friday night, allegedly by suspected cultists.
