The federal lawmaker representing Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh, has been caught on tape assaulting a Bolt driver who came to his residence to make delivery.
A secret recording of the incident revealed that the lawmaker who was sitting in the compound of his mansion, felt insulted when the Bolt driver announced to him to come pick up his consignment.
He barked at the Bolt driver with tons of insults and threats. “Imagine this rat. I can make you disappear in the whole of Nigeria and nothing will happen. I’m not going to give this stealy boy one Naira of my money.”
The Bolt driver replied: “You’ve been insulting me since and I have been keeping quiet.”
The ‘Honourable’ lawmaker doubled down on his threat: “I pray that you insult me. Can you please insult me? I’m not going to call my policemen to beat you up. I will beat you up. I will show you that I’m a big brother to you. I will slap the hell out of you and I will lie you down, lock you in my generator house.”
The Bolt driver then questioned the lawmaker. “Why should you do that?”
At this point, the lawmaker felt his ego bruised. He reacted with more insults and threats. “Is it me you are talking to? Do you know where you are? Because you saw me sitting outside here.”
The Bolt driver responded: “It doesn’t matter. Just pay me my money and let me go.”
Ikwechegh became very furious: He reacted with slaps to the Bolt driver. “Look at this monkey oh. Are you even looking at me that you can beat me?. Do you know who I am? I am a senator of the Federal Republic (he exaggerated).
“Do you know who the fuck I am. How dare you,” he told the Bolt driver.
When he saw the bolt driver trying to film the exchange, he said to him “Tell them I am Hon Alex Ikwecheigh, a member of the House of Representatives. Go and call the IGP.”
Ikwecheigh then slammed the driver’s recording device.
This is pure oppression and wickedness. 😦 so a Bolt driver went to deliver something to A Politician and this happen just because the driver asked the man to come to the car to pick up his stuff!
