A candlelight was held for Illerioluwa Aloba, famously known as MohBad in the coal city of Enugu, on Thursday, September 21.
MohBad died on September 12 after he reportedly received an injection from a nurse to treat an ear infection. He was hurriedly buried the following day near a cassava farm. Many have condemned what they described as unceremonial burial for the music star.
At the candlelight in Enugu, the young Nigerians, all holding the lit candle, bid farewell to MohBad by chanting his Yoruba alias, Imole, which means light.
The Lagos State Police Command has announced that Mohbad’s corpse has been exhumed for autopsy.
Recalls that the police had vowed to go the extra mile to unravel the mysteries around the singer’s death, and bring those found culpable to book.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry are being accused of intimidating and bullying the singer who left the Marlian music label after he fell out with his former label boss.
Naira Marley and his associate are, however, believed to have fled the country as calls for their arrest continued to mount.
