A video showing Chinese nationals spraying Naira notes at an undisclosed mining sites has surfaced on social media.
The video, shared by Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency reporter, came with the caption: “HEART BREAKING: Why banditry will not end soon as many illegal mining strive in Nigeria. They come, use and enslave you for stipend and weaponise poverty. This is crazy.”
The video of the Chinese nationals at the mining sites spraying money is coming less than two weeks after another video showing a Chinese man handing out cash gifts to at least 25 armed Nigerian police officers.
The officers formed three horizontal lines while their Chinese benefactor moved around to hand out the cash to them.
