Ex-militant leader and commander of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, has threatened the Rivers State Governor, Similaye Fubara, to steer clear of his affairs or face violence.
According to reports, the Rivers Governor had issued an order to the military to clear the Emohua-Kalabari road which Asari’s men claimed to be securing. In reaction, Asari told the governor to steer their affairs or face their wrath.

In a viral video, Dokubo sat majestically on a couch while the army showed off some military drills.
After the drills, Dokubo rose to address the army in a confident tone. He reminded the army that they worked for Tinubu, and that the presidency is on a turn by turn basis. He said now is the turn of Bola Tinubu and any move to scuttle that would be resisted.
Asari Dokubo ended his speech by chanting ‘turn by turn’ to the excitement of the army who also sang along with him.
