Ex-militant leader and commander of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, has unveiled a ragtag Army consisting of hundreds of youths to defend the presidency of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a viral video first shared by Jackson Ude, a journalist based in the United States, Dokubo sat majestically on a couch while the army showed off some military drills.
After the drills, Dokubo rose to address the army in a confident tone. He reminded the army that they worked for Tinubu, and that the presidency is on a turn by turn basis. He said now is the turn of Bola Tinubu and any move to scuttle that would be resisted.
Asari Dokubo ended his speech by chanting ‘turn by turn’ to the excitement of the army who also sang along with him.
Jackson Ude who shared the video, said: “Asari Dokubo is now preparing the Private Army for Bola Tinubu should he be kicked out from the Presidency by the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal. The DSS is blind, deaf and dumb to this!”
Recall that when the DSS filed a two count charge against former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, netizens called the attention of the secret police that Asari Dokubo who flaunted an AK47 rifle in a video recently, should also be facing even worse charge since the assault rifle is prohibited for civilian use.
