Social media influencer Idris Okunleye, better known as Bobrisky, has been arrested by security operatives at the Lagos Airport.
The latest arrest makes it the second in two weeks.
Recall that Bobrisky was arrested by operatives of Nigeria Immigration Service in October while trying to cross the Nigeria-Benin border.
In the latest arrest, the crossdresser was seen in a viral video being removed from a plane while attempting to flee Nigeria for London.
Social commentator Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State Governor on Thursday, shared a photo of himself and Bobrisky as they boarded the same flight to London.
“Look who’s on the same flight with me to London, @Bobrisky222,” Fayose shared on his Instagram handle.
In a viral video seen on X, Bobrisky was later removed from flight, reportedly flying to London, by airport officials and arrested on Thursday night.
He later claimed his arrest was carried out by operatives of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission.
“I’m badly injured, Nigerians help me EFCC just arrested me,” he wrote on his Instagram story while sharing a short video of injury.
