The police have been dispersing #EndBadGovernance protesters in Abuja with teargas and live rounds, according to a live Instagram video from the handle of social media celebrity, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkman.
The video showed VeryDarkman running away from the choke of the teargas and gunshots.
The social media celebrity accused Wike of being behind the attack on the protesters. “Wike people want blind me. We were peaceful ooo,dear Nigerians we no longer have rights oo,” he said.
An anonymous broadcast on X has earlier alleged that Wike had allegedly instructed the Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Bernard Igwe, to violently suppress the protest.
