UTME fraud: Mmesoma learnt fraud from our leaders, says Charly Boy

By Joseph Ibrahim

Singer and actor, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has alleged that Mmesoma Ejikeme, the 19-year-old lady that confessed to manipulating her UTME result, learnt the trick from Nigeria’s political leaders.

Recall that Mmesoma admitted to inflating her original UTME grade from 249 to 362, thereby giving the impression of having the highest grade among those that sat for the examination in 2023.

After holding her ground for almost a week that the 362 was her original grade, she later confessed to a panel set up by the Anambra government to probe the affair that she used  her phone to inflate her score to 362.

Reacting via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Charly Boy said Mmesoma succeeded in fooling many including himself but added that she learnt forgery from the political leaders.

He wrote: “Mmesoma Ejikeme fooled many including me, check out the fluency with which she defended herself with such innocence. These children na wa, ooo.

“She is still a brilliant girl so let’s not be in a hurry to destroy her, the parents have a lot of counselling to do with her, by the way, who never fuckup, raise ur hand.

“She learned work from leaders that believed that forgery is good plus those who never found their WAEC results till date. Am sure she was in dis Naija as INEC was manipulating Nigeria electoral process,” Charly Boy said.
