Twitter CEO, Elon Musk, has revealed that he is planning to change Twitter’s logo.
Making this disclosure in a tweet on Sunday, Musk hinted that the era of birds on the microblogging platform will soon be over.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds, ” Musk wrote.
Mr Musk further disclosed that the popular ‘bird’ logo might be replaced with the letter ‘X’. “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we will make go live worldwide tomorrow,” Musk added.
He explained that the choice of the new logo is, “To embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique.”
The development comes as Musk continue to change the face of the popular Micro blogging platform.
From Twitter blue to restrictions of tweet reach, Mr Musk had after acquiring Twitter made significant modifications to the platform. The logo change will be the latest modification made by musk on the platform.
