At 7 p.m. on Monday (today), President Bola Tinubu will address Nigerians.
This was revealed in a statement released on Monday morning by Dele Alake, the President’s Special Adviser on Strategy, Communication, and Special Duties.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 7 pm.
“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” the terse statement read.
While details of what the president is intending to address was not made public, his nationwide address comes two days to the planned industrial action by the Nigeria Labour Congress over the hardship being experienced by Nigerians in the aftermath of removal of fuel subsidy.
