President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is holding the first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting with the newly inaugurated Ministers at the State House in Abuja on Monday, August 28.
The inaugural FEC meeting is being attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima and all the 45 ministers who took their oath of office last Monday.
It was gathered that the FEC meeting was scheduled for last Wednesday, but was postponed to allow the ministers more time to settle into their various ministries after their swearing-in ceremony.
According to PoliticsNigeria, the presidency had informed his ministers that the first FEC would now be held on Monday.
According the report, the ministers received a memo to prepare for the Monday’s FEC meeting from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
