As part of the agreement, Tottenham has loaned Djed Spence to Genoa until the season’s end, covering all of the full-back’s wages. Additionally, Genoa holds an option to purchase Spence, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Leeds, for £8.5m in the summer.
In a bid to address Postecoglou’s call for early January business, Spurs have already completed the loan signing of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner. The club is also reportedly interested in Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, although financial considerations may pose a challenge. Further moves involving Bryan Gil, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, and Sergio Reguilón, recently returned from a loan at Manchester United, are under consideration.
Radu Dragusin, a Romanian international, previously played for Juventus and Genoa. His impressive performances in Serie B and Serie A, especially during Genoa’s promotion season, contributed to his recognition. Dragusin has committed to a contract with Spurs until 2030.
The agent of Dragusin, Florin Manea, emphasized the player’s commitment to Tottenham, despite a more lucrative offer from Bayern. Eric Dier, on the fringes at Spurs this season, has now completed a move to Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old, whose contract was set to expire in six months, agreed to the transfer, marking a significant turn in his career.
Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, expressed excitement about Dier’s versatility and experience, describing him as a specialist center-back who can also play in defensive midfield. Dier’s transfer to Bayern is initially a loan deal with an option to buy.
