The former Senator Representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Comrade Shehu Sani has warned the people of Southern Kaduna against entering any form of political alliance with the same people that killed them for eight years.
Sani was reacting to a now deleted tweet by Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai who has now joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The young El-Rufai, had in a reaction to a post by a social media user who accused his father of spearheading the ethnic cleansing in Southern Kaduna, said the people of the region will continue to receive ‘sheghe’ (heat) if they kill indigenous Fulani people.
He said: “And Southern Kaduna residents will keep seeing sheghe if they keep attacking indigenous Fulani herdsmen.”
Although Bashir later deleted the tweet and even apologized, Sani says it is God revealing those behind the massacre in Southern Kaduna.
He said: “For eight years, Southern Kaduna experienced systemic killings, abductions and arson in their rural communities.God has revealed to you, through a now deleted tweet,of the evil forces behind it.Any parley with such people is alliance with the devil.”
