Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State announced on Thursday that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially adopted President Bola Tinubu as its candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Governor Soludo further emphasised that APGA and the All Progressives Congress (APC) would work together, as both parties share a common belief in progressivism.
According to Soludo, progressives work together.
The announcement was made at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka during the President’s working visit to the state.
Tinubu, who arrived at the Chinua Achebe International Airport in Anambra for his official visit to the state, was received by Governor Soludo.
During the visit, Tinubu inaugurated Anambra State’s first-ever Government House on Thursday, marking a historic milestone more than 30 years after the state’s creation.
