Controversial Nigerian social media influencer, Daniel Regha, has slammed Nigerian celebrities for not standing by late singer Mohbad at the time he fell out with his record Label boss, Naira Marley.
Mr Regha in a tweet on Wednesday alleged that the deceased singer was not publicly supported when he was assaulted by his former label boss crew.
“Mohbad wasn’t publicly supported when he was assaulted by the Naira Marley crew, even after being hospitalized the industry elites kept silent,” Mr Regha wrote on X, Wednesday.
According to the influencer, “Only Bella Shmurda boldly stood by him. All of a sudden everyone is posting condolence messages & acting like they care. The same so-called celebs are still associating with his assaulter, Naira Marley. Many Nigerians who are also expressing their sadness are big cl¤wns, thousands of RIP posts on social media platforms, but tomorrow if Naira Marley releases a song they will happily vibe to it. Bunch of fakes.”
PoliticsNow had earlier reported that MohBad, who was formally signed under Marlian record, died on Tuesday.
In February last year, Mohbad raised the alarm over attempts on his life by suspected members of the Marlian group.
He said should anything untoward happens to him, Naira Marley and the crew members should be held responsible.
The singer raised the alarm on an Instagram live video hours after his release from National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) custody.
