Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, has advised the president, Bola Tinubu, on how to end the illegal Monday sit-at-home imposed by factional leader of the indigenous People of Biafra, Simon Ekpa.
In a tweet on Sunday, Mr. Sani advised the President Tinubu led government to share N50,000 palliatives at the markets every Monday.
“Share 50k palliatives in the market every monday to end sit at Home,” Mr Sani in a tweet wrote.
Recall that the forcefully imposed Monday sit-at-home order by IPOB has continued to cripple the economy of the South-East region. Gunmen believed to be members of IPOB have continued to forcefully ensure compliance to the sit-at-home directive in various states; destroying goods and shop of traders that fail to comply with the sit-at-home directive.
Already, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural organisation, accused Finland-based agitator, Simon Ekpa of declaring a second Biafra war in the Southeast.
Ekpa has been at the centre of the renewed crisis across the Southeast following the sit-at-home he declared.
