The All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Chairman North, Hon Ali Bukar Dalori, is giving out cash support to Muslims in Borno State from a physical cash of N100 million stash in his home.
Dalori, a three times councilor and three times local government chairman of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno state, was said to have decided to share the physical cash to his people to assist them with the Ramadan fasting.
But how did Dalori get N100 million in cash, especially because the Anti Money Laundering Act prohibits cash transactions beyond N5 million in the case of an individual and N10 million in the case of a corporate entity.
This poser makes an X user, @Truth3Spill to say: “Is this not ransom money? How does anyone have 100m in cash without triggering an AML report if he got it from the bank?”
