Security forces have successfully prevented PDP supporters from reaching the gate of the state INEC office along Swali Market Road in the capital. The road has been barricaded with armoured personnel carriers and security patrol vans.
Despite the security measures, the protesters have maintained a peaceful demonstration, accompanied by music playing from a truck.
This demonstration coincides with the ongoing collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following the off-cycle governorship election conducted in the state on Saturday.
