International music sensation Rihanna has declared Nigerian artist Davido’s collaboration with South African singer Musa Keys, titled “Unavailable,” as her ultimate “Song of the Year.” Rihanna made the announcement during an exclusive interview with Complex at a recent event for her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper.
When asked about her preference for Album of the Year, Rihanna dismissed the idea, expressing a leaning toward streaming singles. She enthusiastically revealed that “Unavailable” by Davido featuring Musa Keys and “Mnike” by Tyler ICU and Tumelo are her joint songs of the year.

In response to Rihanna’s acknowledgment, Davido shared a clip of the interview on social media, captioning it “My Ri Ri.”
“Unavailable” is a viral hit track from Davido’s fourth studio album, released on March 31, 2023. The album explores various musical styles, including amapiano, afrobeat, dancehall, ragga, konto, highlife, and afro pop. It features collaborations with artists such as Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Focalistic, and The Cavemen.
Additionally, Davido reflected on the year 2023, describing it as the most “Timeless” year in his musical journey. In a video shared on social media, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming reception of his album “Timeless” and attributed its success to the love from fans, Grammy nominations, viral moments, press runs, and memorable shows on global stages. Davido thanked God, his family, and followers for making 2023 a year of achievements and musical milestones.
