Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has expressed strong disapproval of singer Naira Marley’s defamation lawsuit seeking N500 million against her mother. The legal action comes in response to Iyabo Ojo’s pursuit of justice for the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, with allegations of Naira Marley’s involvement in the singer’s death.
In a scathing critique, Priscilla highlighted the evidence of Naira Marley allegedly bullying Mohbad and condemned the legal move against her mother, who risked her career for justice. Priscilla took to her Instagram story to voice her sentiments, stating, “The Audacity!! You want to sue? Sue who? LMAOO00000 Clowns.”
Priscilla pointed out ongoing legal issues concerning the late singer’s catalogue and unpaid royalties and questioned Naira Marley’s priorities. She underscored the legitimacy of videos and evidence showcasing the alleged bullying of Mohbad by Naira Marley and his associates before his demise.
Expressing amazement at the situation, Priscilla emphasized her mother’s dedication to seeking justice, including frequent visits to the police station and ongoing financial support for DJ Splash’s hospital bills and treatment. She refuted claims of clout-chasing, highlighting Iyabo Ojo’s consistent advocacy for justice in various cases, including supporting a young girl who faced sexual assault.
Priscilla defended her mother’s actions, asserting, “One thing is sure. He might not be alive to fight for himself, but I know that his spirit cannot be asleep.” The post sheds light on Priscilla Ojo’s frustration with the legal action against her mother and her unwavering support for Iyabo Ojo’s pursuit of justice.
