Police declare Primeboy, Mohbad’s childhood friend wanted, offer N1m bounty 

 

 

Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, the childhood friend of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been declared wanted with a N1 million bounty. 

 

Already, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Sam Larry, are in police custody in the ongoing investigation into the death of Mohbad.

 

The Lagos State Police Command declared Primeboy wanted after allegedly ducking police invitation for weeks.  

 

Three days after Mohbad’s death, Primeboy said in a video that he was not responsible for Mohbad’s death. 

 

Primeboy, who claimed that he was on stage with Mohbad during his last performance in Ikorodu, said they went to his car together with his wife seated in their middle. He, however, said that the singer, who was high, started acting weirdly and wanted to leave the car. 

 

On Wednesday, a statement signed by the Lagos Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, read in part: “Ibrahim is approximately 1.64-m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.

 

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.

 

“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest.”
