Peter Obi meets elected LP National Assembly members.
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in just concluded elections, Mr Peter Obi has met with the elected members of the National Assembly under the Platform of the Labour Party.
The meeting which brought together the eight senators elect and thirty four House of Representatives members elect under the Platform of Labour Party was the first since after the 2023 elections .
Addressing journalists after the meeting, the National Chairman of LP, Mr Julius Abure, explained that the meeting focused on how to ensure quality representation by the lawmakers elected on the platform of Labour Party.
Mr Abure said the cost of governorship nomination forms for the forthcoming elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo States has been reviewed from 25 million naira to 15 million naira
The National Chairman said the LP as masses inclined party would continue to champion policies and programmes that are masses centered.
