Publisher of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, has faulted the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) suggesting that the court deliberately turned the country’s constitution upside down.
Making this suggestion in the heels of the President Election Tribunal Court verdict, Mr Momodu suggested that what men and women of good conscience should have for the judges is pity and not anger.
“I watched in utter amazement and wonderment how our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside down by those who lack a sense of history and care less about the verdict of history… What all men and women of good conscience should have for them is pity and not anger… NIGERIA SHALL BE FREE…” Mr Momodu said.
Recall that the PEPC on Wednesday struck out petitions brought by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and that of Labour Party, Peter Obi against the election of Presidential Bola Tinubu.
While both parties have rejected the Supreme. court verdict, PDP announced it’s decision to appeal the Tribunal’s decision at the Supreme Court.
However LP while condemning the tribunal ruling said it was waiting for the original true copy of the verdict before announcing it’s next line of action.
