Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has named the two things Andre Onana will bring to the Red Devils.
Man United are keen to sign Onana from Inter Milan this summer as the contract of their first-choice goalkeeper David De Gea expired a few days ago.
However, Ferdinand believes the Cameroonian keeper will bring more confidence and more ability to play out from the back in Ten Hag’s team.
Speaking about Onana, Ferdinand told FiveUk, “He will give Manchester United more confidence and more ability to play out from the back and I think he suits ten Hag’s team.
“He is a real modern-day goalkeeper. You see teams pressing him and he doesn’t even panic.”
