A nurse who gave Illerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, the last injection before his death, has been arrested, according to Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
Mohbad, a rising star, died on September 12 in a controversial circumstance.
Reports indicate that he walked into a health facility in Ikorodu, even took a selfie with some fans. But once a nurse administered an injection to him, he collapsed.
More curious was the information that instead of making an attempt to revive the artiste, he was instead rushed out by a chaotic crowd into a vehicle. It was in that vehicle that someone was heard shouting “MohBad is dead.”
Ojo, who initially announced a rally in the Ikeja area of Lagos on Wednesday, later cancelled it due to fears of potential disruption by unruly elements.
However, the actress stated that her team would still visit Lagos state government offices to register their concerns.
During an Instagram live session, Ojo provided an update on Mohbad’s case.
She confirmed that arrests have been made, including the nurse who treated Mohbad.
She also said more arrests are underway, adding that police authorities are calling on “some people to turn themselves in”.
“They are going to do the autopsy… they have made some arrests,” she said.
“The nurse has been arrested, that I know. That is the only information I can give you right now… they have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
