The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Audi, has ordered the deployment of 40,000 personnel across the country for a hitch-free Eid-el kabir celebration.
According to a statement from the Director of Public Relations of the Corps, Olusola Odumosu, those deployed are to ensure the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure and joint operations.
The CG charged all heads of formation to leave no stone unturned in ensuring effective Security coverage of the country. He urged them to increase their level of vigilance and be highly sensitive to their environment, especially during this festive period, to avoid unpleasant surprises from the enemies of the country.
He charged various Commands to be proactive, stating that to achieve greater results, an intelligent-driven approach must be adopted, to nip crime in the bud.
