Nollywood actor, Baba Tee gives reason for sleeping with Lande’s wife, Dara

Nollywood actor and comedian, Babatunde Tayo better known as Baba Tee, has finally admitted he slept with the wife of his colleague, Ganiyu Morufu aka Ijoba Lande.

 

He made the admittance during a live interview with socialite, Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday.

 

Before this, Baba Tee had challenged Lande to provide evidence of him sleeping with his wife after the skit maker accused him and 20 other entertainers of having affairs with his wife, Dara, before their separation in January 2025.

 

Responding to Lande’s allegation in a video interview on his Instagram page, Baba Tee said, “I have never met or spoken to Lande’s wife in my life. I didn’t even know what she looked like until mid-2024 when Mary Gold called me regarding an MC job because I’m also a stand-up comedian.”

 

He added, “Lande, I am putting this to you—present evidence for the allegations you have made against me. Show proof to the world that I slept with your wife.”

 

However, in a new twist, Baba Tee while chatting with Esabod and others,  admitted he slept with Lande’s wife.

 

The thespian went on to explain that it happened during a ‘Truth or Dare’ game with Lande’s former manager, Marygold and his wife.

 

He said, “So immediately we began the game, Marygold went completely naked and was daring me consistently to Dara while she kept taking alcohol as a choice of not wanting to do the tasks that I demanded from her.

 

“Marygold now dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her and she (Dara) obliged.

 

“I will not deny that I had a short sexual intercourse with her, it is the first time I am saying it. It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality.”

 

Following his confession, Esabod advised him to tender an apology to Lande.

 

Baba Tee then took to his official Facebook page on Monday and wrote, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande.

 

“Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge…Hmmm. I fear women.”

 

Ijoba Lande had while sharing a video message on his Instagram page, claimed that his wife, Dara, left him after he discovered she was dating other men.

 

He also called out his ex-manager, Marygold, who doubled as his wife’s best friend, for introducing her to Baba Tee despite knowing she was married to him.
