There are strong indications that Nigerian military forces have surrounded notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji.
According to counter-insurgency reporter, Zagazola Makama quoting sources who confirmed the presence of Turji in Kalage Forest, located in the Mashema region of Eastern Kagara, Zamfara State. Makama said that Turji is reportedly operating from the area alongside two of his key lieutenants, identified as Office and Ibrahim Buzu.
Turji and his associates have established a stronghold within the forest, supported by several armed militants and large herds of livestock, which are believed to be part of their plunder from ongoing raids.
On Thursday, he shot a video, but was scared to release it due to the fear that he would be tracked and struck, Zagazola reported.
