Ahead of the second-round game slated for Monday in Brisbane, England star Lauren James has admitted that it will be difficult to play against Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
The Chelsea forward was the star of the game when they thrashed China 6-1, James scored twice and added 3 assists.
England recorded a maximum of 9 points during the group stage and Super Falcons were second in their group with 5 points.
“Nigeria is going to be very tough, to be fair every team has been tough, even watching the other games,” James was quoted as saying by englandfootball.com.
“Teams are catching up with each other and I know that will be another very difficult game,” she said.
England finished 4th in the 2019 World Cup in France while Nigeria lost out to Germany in the round of 16.
