The much talked about cage fight between X owner, Elon Musk, and Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, will be streamed live on the microblogging App.
Musk, who recently renamed Twitter as X, said the microblogging platform will stream the fight to billions of viewers, and proceeds generated from the mixed martial art will go to charity.
He tweeted via his verified handle, @elonmusk on Sunday: “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on 𝕏. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”
Musk had earlier tweeted: “Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight. Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.”
Musk and Zuckerberg’s planned fight has been confirmed to be real, according to a report by New York Times.
The newspaper reported that the day after the X owner challenged Zuckerberg to a physical bout, Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship received a text from Zuckerberg to inquire if the world’s richest man was serious. He reverted to Musk who confirmed he was damned serious.
