Ace music producer, television presenter and music executive, Kehinde “Kenny” Ogungbe, has completed his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the age of 53.
Kenny Ogungbe, who is the founder of the label Kennis Music, and CEO alongside Dayo “D1” Adeneye of Kennis 104.1 F.M, Lagos, showed off photographs of his discharge certificate after the passing out parade which was held today in Lagos.
Some Nigerians have taken to social media to react after seeing the photos of his NYSC.
Ogungbe, who was well-known for helping to shape the Nigerian music scene in his early 20s with his Kennis Music label, shared photos of his Passing Out Parade on Instagram with the caption, “NYSC graduation/POP today.” Graduation day in Lagos/12C “All glory to God.”
The photos sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some claiming that Ogungbe could go into politics and raising questions if the 30-year age limit for the programme is no longer in place.
