Naira Marley, a Nigerian musician and rapper, has spoken for the first time after the passing of his former signee IleriOluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
For the first time since Mohbad’s passing, the head of the Marlian label declared that he will return to Nigeria to clear his name.
Recall that Mohbad was hastily buried on Wednesday, September 13 in Ikorodu after passing away on Tuesday, raising questions regarding his precise cause of death.
Naira Marley expressed his “heartbreak” about Mohbad’s passing in a statement he uploaded on his Instagram, saying he will “truly miss” him.
Despite their disagreements, the head of Marlian Records acknowledged that “no harm was wished on Mohbad at all.”
Naira Marley who expressed sympathy to Mohbad’s family, demanded an exhaustive probe into the 27-year-old singer’s passing.
Mohbad had suffered intense harassment after quitting Marlian label last year.
Social media is awash with videos of Sam Larry, an ally of Naira Marley, leading the thugs that harassed the day light out of Mohbad.
Larry is believed to have carried out the bullying at the behest of Naira Marley.
