President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s records with Chicago State University (CSU) have confirmed some facts already in the public domain.
Those facts are as follows;
- In June 1997, Tinubu applied and received a replacement diploma issued from CSU. He submitted the said Diploma to INEC. However, a copy of the replacement diploma CSU released yesterday shows it is remarkably different from what Tinubu presented to INEC.
- Prior to enrolling in CSU, Tinubu used a transcript from Southwest College (now Richard Daley College) to gain admission into CSU. Curiously, the transcript belongs to a female. The transcript has a social security number, which means the owner is also an American citizen. Tinubu publicly denied having dual citizenship.
- Tinubu’s public record on Wikipedia and an earlier submission to INEC, showed he went to Government College, Ibadan for his secondary education. But the Bola A. Tinubu who applied to Southwest College for an associate degree in 1975 attended Government College, Lagos. Curiously, the Government College, Lagos, was established in 1974.
- Tinubu’s official date of birth is March 29, 1952, but the birthday recorded in his CSU transcript says he was born on March 29, 1954.
