Nigerian rapper and media personality, Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, professionally known as Laycon, has embarked on a commendable initiative by covering the tuition fees for university students in various communities across Lagos.
As the champion of Big Brother Naija Season 5 and the present youth ambassador of Ogun State, Laycon demonstrated his philanthropic spirit in his recent music video titled ‘Shine.’
The rapper initiated this effort to ease the financial burden on students and their families, particularly in light of the prevailing economic challenges in the country.
In addition to this, Laycon provided support by distributing writing materials to primary school students in different schools across Lagos, recognizing the fundamental importance of education at the grassroots level.
Laycon executed these benevolent acts in diverse areas of Lagos, including Berger, Ajah, Makoko, and Ikeja environs.
Despite recently completing a master’s degree in international relations from a UK university, the 30-year-old artist continues to be a source of hope for aspiring young minds, securing victory in the BBNaija reality show in 2020.
His influence extends beyond the realms of music and artistry, serving as a beacon of inspiration for those who look up to him.
