Investigation into the cause of death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as MohBad, will commence on Friday, September 29 at the Magistrate Court Ikorodu, Lagos State.
This was contained in a letter dated September 26 to the legal team of Falana and Falana Chambers by the coroner, Magistrate Taofikat Shotobi.
The firm requested for an inquest to determine the facts surrounding what it termed the ‘very tragic’ death of the late Mohbad under ‘mysterious’ circumstances in a letter dated September 18, 2023 and addressed to Justice Mojisola Dada, Chief Coroner of the High Court of Lagos State.
The coroner responded that she had been given permission to convene an inquest in accordance with the current requirements of Sections 14 and 15 of the Coroner’s System Law of Lagos State, Cap. C15, Laws of Lagos State 2015, by the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Mojisola Dada.
Mohbad, only 27 years, died on September 12 under controversial circumstances.
A nurse who reportedly administered an injection on him before his death, has been arrested.
