Singer Damilola Rasak Afolabi, widely known as L.A.X, is contemplating legal action against a woman who accused him of transmitting herpes to her.
L.A.X, the son of affluent businessman Taiwo Afolabi from SIFAX Group of Companies, is now facing allegations of spreading the contagious viral infection herpes, which causes sores, often around the mouth or genitals. It’s important to note that while the virus has manageable symptoms, there is currently no cure.
The controversy emerged when L.A.X’s girlfriend shared an affectionate picture with the singer on Monday, extending New Year wishes to everyone. However, a user with the handle @edna_reese seized the opportunity to make a serious accusation against L.A.X, labeling him a “wicked herpes giver.”
In response to this accusation, L.A.X expressed his strong disapproval, asserting that he takes such allegations seriously. He made it clear that he does not tolerate such claims lightly and vowed to pursue legal action against the accuser. The singer conveyed his message firmly, stating that legal actions would be initiated immediately and warning the accuser that this would be her last such comment.
The situation underscores the potential consequences of making serious accusations on social media, prompting individuals to defend their reputation through legal means when faced with false or damaging claims.
