President Bola Tinubu has withdrawn the nomination of Mariam Shetty, a nominee from Kano State, replacing her with Mariga Mahmud.
Maryam Shetty was already at the National Assembly complex when she was notified that her name has been yanked off as ministerial nominee,
Senate President Godswill Akpabio made this known during plenary on Friday following a letter from the president.
Tinubu also nominated a former spokesperson for his presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo.
Keyamo had come under intense social media taunt following the earlier list that didn’t have his name.
