The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has lodged an appeal with the Supreme Court, contesting the decision of the Court of Appeal that upheld the tribunal’s removal of Governor Kabir Yusuf from office.
In the filed court documents, NNPP cited 10 grounds of error allegedly committed by the Court of Appeal. The party is urging the Supreme Court to reverse the ruling and reinstate Governor Yusuf.

The parties involved in this appeal are Yusuf Abba Kabir and the All Progressives Congress (APC), INDEPENDENT NATIONAL Electoral Commission (INEC), and NEW NIGERIA PEOPLES Party (NNPP).
