Italian football powerhouse Juventus has delivered positive updates on the health of two pivotal players, Manuel Locatelli and Alex Sandro. The duo faced setbacks during Juve’s challenging 2-1 Serie A triumph against Frosinone.
Initial apprehensions surrounded Locatelli’s condition, considering his previous absence from international duty due to a rib injury. However, thorough medical examinations dispelled concerns of fractures, revealing a less severe oblique contusion for the 25-year-old midfielder.
Left-back Sandro underwent assessments for a right thigh issue, but an MRI scan yielded reassuring results by ruling out muscular injuries. Instead, he received a diagnosis of a minor hamstring overload.
In an official statement, the Turin club affirmed that continuous monitoring would precede a crucial upcoming fixture against arch-rivals AS Roma on Saturday, December 30. Currently positioned second in the league standings, manager Massimiliano Allegri aims to have both Locatelli and Sandro at his disposal to bolster their pursuit of the Scudetto title this season.
