Israeli Defence Forces eliminate top Hamas commander, Ibrahim Al-Saher
Israel fighter jets have launched a precise strike against a top Hamas commander and one of the alleged masterminds of the October 7 slaughter of more 1,000 civilians in Israel.
A post on X by Israel Defence Forces, says the Hamas commander was identified as Ibrahim Al-Saher, whom it says is the Head of the Anti-Tank Missiles Array of Hamas’ Northern Brigade.
The post reads: “We guaranteed to eliminate Hamas’ terrorism—and we take our word very seriously. Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out an airstrike in order to neutralize Ibrahim Al-Saher—the Head of the Anti-Tank Missiles Array of Hamas’ Northern Brigade—this morning. In 2021, Ibrahim Al-Saher fired an anti-tank missile which killed SSGT Omer Tabib and injured additional IDF soldiers.”
Israel began an air strike against Gaza on October 7, after hundreds of Hamas fighters poured into the Jewish state to kill about 1,000 of its citizens.
Israel has vowed to extract a steep price from Hamas, which is the ruling authority in Gaza. So far, more than 5,000 Palestinians have been killed in the punitive airstrikes launched by Israel.
