INEC Chair meets with RECs in Abuja

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu is holding a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissions (RECs) in Abuja.

At the opening, Professor said:
Winners declared for 423 legislative seats. Supplementary elections indicated in 46 Constituencies
98 out of 109 Senate, 325 out of 360 House of Reps seats declared
7 parties won Senate, 8 parties won House of Reps seats
Senators/House of Reps- elect to receive certificates on the 7th, and 8th of March respectively.
